Travel Technology Show Nigeria (TTSN) was recently given a boost when it got the nod of the Federal Government through the Ministry of Aviation. The show which is first of its kind in Nigeria is now in top gear to host both the players and consumers of the IT and Travel Industry. According to the Show’s Director, Mr. Seyi Jawando, He said the recent endorsement by the ministry of Aviation will indeed go a long way in assuring the success of the show and has also displayed Government’s seriousness in the public, private participation (PPP) campaign for a better Nigeria. He said aside the indigenous exhibitors who will grace the show, exhibitors from South Africa have also indicated there interest to be part of the conference cum exhibition. The primary objective of the show is to enable operators in the travel and tourism sectors capitalize on latest advancements in technology to set an agenda for deployment of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) relevant to the sector. As part of efforts being geared up to broaden the scope of the show, speakers for the conference are core professionals drawn from various fields of the IT and Travel Sector from all around the world. According to Amadeus, a major partner of the show, the show will strengthen the industry and will equally pave way for direct foreign investment in the Travel sector. Travel Technology Show Nigeria will hold on the 22nd &23rd of September 2009, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island.
