British Airways Awards outstanding trade partners PDF Print E-mail
BA Award WinnersIt was all smiles at the British Airways Trade Awards held in Lagos on Friday when the airline hosted a lunch for 20 of its key agents. The event washeld to thank the trade for their
support over the past year, and to award the best performing travel agents.
The award categories were; highest total revenue in ticket sales, highest corporate revenue, highest retail revenue, most professional travel agency and biggest growth.
The five Awards were presented by British Airways Director of Sales & Marketing, Drew Crawley, who was visiting Lagos from his base at the company’s Headquarters in London. Each winner was presented with two, BA return Club World tickets to London.
The event was an opportunity for the airline to bond and interact with its partners, as well as foster networking opportunities amongst those present.
British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, Ian Petrie said: “British Airways has been serving Nigeria for over 70 years. We are proud of the strong relationships we have developed with our trade partners over that time and appreciate their support, which has helped us deliver an excellent level of service to Nigerians.
Today’s event is our way of honoring them for their hard work and commitment.”British Airways Country Commercial Manager, West Africa Adrian Mccloy added:
“We hope to further strengthen loyalty to the British Airways brand and refresh the minds of our partners on the need to establish values of excellent service delivery.”
The awards ceremony was well attended by top British airways staff, a representative of Civil Aviation Authority, 20 travel agents and media men.
