BCD Travel in Nigeria scoops top award from leading European airline PDF Print E-mail

BCD Travel Nigeria BCD Travel, a leading global corporate travel management company and represented by leading travel specialist Six Continents Travel and Tours in Nigeria, is delighted to have been awarded the accolade of top travel agency in Nigeria for 2007 by leading international airline Lufthansa German Airlines.

At an award ceremony hosted at the Oceanview Restaurant in Lagos recently, Lufthansa named BCD Travel in Nigeria as their number one selling agent throughout 2007. In recognition of the award, the business travel management specialist received a commemorative plaque with the inscription “Award of Excellence - In recognition and appreciation of your outstanding professionalism in the travel industry and being Lufthansa top travel agency in Nigeria for the year 2007”.

The award was presented to BCD Travel’s Managing Director in Nigeria, Mr Edmund Abayomi Jones by Herbert Reichle, General Manager of Lufthansa (see attached picture). Upon receiving the award a delighted Mr Jones confirmed “Our best is yet to come.” The award comes at an exciting time for BCD Travel, not only in Nigeria but across the African continent too. March this year saw the appointment of Tosan Woode as BCD Travel’s Strategic Development Manager for the continent, tasked with driving business development, operational and technological consistency and raising awareness of the BCD Travel brand in line with global sales and marketing initiatives. Meanwhile BCD Travel in Nigeria has seen strong growth in new business with a number of multinational clients having been implemented in the first half of 2008 and a healthy pipeline of potential new accounts. BCD Travel simplifies and streamlines the corporate travel process, helping companies manage and control the movement of their people, information and resources.
